8월 21일, CLC Genomics Workbench 6.5 버전이 새로 release 되었으며 웹세미나를 통해 새로운 특징들을 소개할 예정입니다.
Introduction to CLC Phylogeny Module
CLC Phylogeny Module이 현재의 phylogeny tools으로 업그레이드 되었습니다.
이 플러그인은 Phylogenetic trees와 associated metadata의 visualization과 creation을 위한 viewer 부분이 더욱더 강화되었습니다.
또한, 새로운 2개의 tools가 추가 되었습니다
• The k-mer based whole genome phylogenetic reconstruction
• Model testing tool for statistics evaluation

54 colorectal tumors 안의 454FLX CSMD1 coding regions의 pyrosequencing은 colorectal cancer 환자에서 CSMD1 somatic mutations, allele imbalance, DNA methylation, clinical characteristics의 상호관계의 특징을 찾아내기 위하여 사용되었습니다.
CLC Genomics Workbench를 이용하여 human reference genome에 sequencing reads를 mapping 하였습니다. 더 나아가, colorectal tumors와 normal samples에서의 calling variants를 위해 Probalilistic Variant Detection tool을 사용하였습니다.
