Assembling the ash tree genome with UK scientists
CLC bio사와 Queen Mary University of London의 공동연구자들은 CLC bio사의 de novo assembler를 이용한 European ash tree (Fraxinus excelsior) 의 genome assembly 결과를 발표했습니다.
해당 연구자들이 구축한 reference genome은 ash dieback 질병연구의 기초자료가 될 것입니다.

single-cell genomic, metatranscriptomic 통합 분석 및 bioreactor 수행, 13C- 와 15N- 라벨링 실험결과는 신규 무산소 메탄친화성 계통의 ANME-2d가 독립적인 메탄의 무산소 호흡이 가능함을 밝혔습니다.
이 연구에 CLC Genomics Workbench의 필터링과 어셈블리, 맵핑 기능이 사용되었습니다. 해당 결과는 ANME-2d 계통의 멤버들이 무산소 환경에서 전체 탄소 및 질소 사이클에 중요한 연결자임을 예측했습니다.
